Job summary

GBU Life is seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to join our Technology team and support the modernization of our business systems and technology solutions.

This role serves as a key partner between business teams, technology resources, developers, QA, project managers, and external vendors to analyze business needs and deliver effective technology solutions that meet our strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years in business analysis, requirements gathering, or related tech roles.
• Experience creating business requirements documents, BRDs, and system documentation.
• Strong ability to develop process diagrams and workflow documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, validate, and document business requirements using formal methods.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specifications and technical docs.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and vendors across the SDLC.
• Develop process diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support testing and validation through UAT and issue resolution.
