The ideal candidate has hands-on exposure to business systems and cross-functional processes and is ready to grow into broader business analysis responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and clarify business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria for system enhancements and projects.
  • Support enterprise business applications by analyzing system issues, assisting with configuration, coordinating enhancement requests, and helping improve business processes.
  • Assist with process mapping and gap analysis for core business workflows, including cross-functional processes that span multiple departments, systems, and teams.
  • Participate in solution design discussions with business users, developers, vendors, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with organizational priorities, process needs, and user experience goals.
  • Prepare and execute test plans, support user acceptance testing, document defects, and validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
  • Create user documentation, training materials, standard operating procedures, and support guides for new or changed systems and processes.
  • Analyze business data and reporting needs to help improve visibility into operational performance, process efficiency, service levels, decision-making, and overall business effectiveness.
  • Support change management activities by communicating system changes, coordinating training readiness, and helping business users adopt new tools and processes.
  • Manage assigned tasks, small enhancement requests, and project workstreams with guidance from senior team members or project leads.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Two to five years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, process analyst, data analyst, functional analyst, or similar role supporting business systems and process improvement.
  • Some direct experience supporting business users, business applications, enterprise processes, reporting needs, system enhancements, or cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of ERP, SaaS, reporting, workflow, collaboration, productivity, or other business platforms and applications.
  • Ability to gather requirements, document processes, write clear business documentation, and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Comfortable working with data in tools such as Excel, reporting platforms, dashboards, SaaS reports, ERP reports, or basic query tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP LX is preferred; experience with other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or similar platforms is also valuable.
  • Exposure to common enterprise business platforms, workflow tools, reporting solutions, integration tools, collaboration systems, or department-specific applications.
  • Experience creating process maps, test scripts, training guides, dashboards, business reports, user documentation, or system support materials.
Key Competencies
  • Business process orientation with curiosity about how work gets done across the organization and how systems support the broader business.
  • Clear communication and active listening skills with the ability to translate between business and technical teams.
  • Practical problem-solving mindset focused on improving efficiency, accuracy, service, visibility, user experience, and overall business effectiveness.
  • Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build trust across business functions, IT, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
