Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an IT Business Analyst in Addison, Texas (Hybrid 3 days in office) for a 12+ month contract. The role focuses on financial template authoring, GA/RAFTA tooling, and extensive data analysis with Excel and SQL. Experience with Moody's CreditLens FTA/RAFTA is preferred.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an IT Business Analyst.

Position type: Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Addison, Texas (Hybrid 3 days in office)

As an IT Business Analyst, you will:

Must have skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Financial Template Authoring and configuration for commercial lending or credit analysis platforms.
• 2+ years’ experience on RAFTA
• Strong understanding of Financial Statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Financial Template Authoring and configuration for commercial lending or credit analysis platforms.
• Experience with Moody's CreditLens FTA / RAFTA or similar financial spreading/template administration tools.
• Strong understanding of Financial Statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules.
• Financial Data Modeling, account mapping, and maintenance of financial structures.
• Business Rules Configuration, including financial calculations, validations, ratios, and reporting logic.
• Chart of Accounts (COA) design, account hierarchy management, and financial data standardization.
• Financial Reporting, reconciliation, and analysis of financial information.
• Data Quality Controls, validation rules, exception analysis, and issue resolution.
• Projection and Forecasting Logic, including assumptions management and financial planning concepts.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case creation, and defect management.
• Ability to perform data analysis and validation using Excel and SQL.
• Technical Documentation, including business requirements, process flows, configuration documents, and operating procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Banking, Commercial Lending, Credit Risk, or Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience with JIRA, Agile methodologies, and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL querying.
• Experience supporting financial template implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Learning & Adaptability Requirement
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly learn new business processes, tools, and technologies.
• Eager to adapt to evolving business needs and apply knowledge gained through Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions.
• Strong self-learning mindset with the ability to become productive in new functional areas after receiving training and guidance.
• Open to cross-training and taking ownership of assigned functional domains as expertise develops

Pay Range
