Job summary

State of South Carolina, Office of Technology & Information Services (OTIS), seeks an IT Business Analyst to document requirements, map processes, and support data-driven decisions. You’ll work with IT leaders, finance, and operations to translate business needs into actionable specifications and governance artifacts.

The role emphasizes process documentation, change management support, and cross-functional liaison duties, with a focus on delivering decision-ready analyses and dashboards,

Qualifications

Three years of experience in computer system development and modification, or two years in analyzing business processes and workflows with mapping tools.
Power BI experience required.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, business analytics, or a related area.

Responsibilities

Document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, hand-offs, roles, and improvement opportunities.
Define reporting requirements and governance to support leadership decisions.
Support testing, user acceptance, implementation readiness, and post-implementation review.
