SmartSource is seeking an IT/AV Field Service Technician in Carrollton, TX. The role centers on delivering exceptional customer service in corporate meeting environments and trade shows, with duties including configuration, testing, equipment transport, on-site installation, networking and technical support.

The ideal candidate has a strong IT background, can work independently, communicates well with clients, and can drive company vehicles, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong IT background with configuration, networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Can-do attitude, strong customer service focus and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and have attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles to venues; lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• In-shop configuration, preparation and testing, transport for on-site installation, customer service, and troubleshooting of computers, software, and peripherals in corporate events environments and tradeshows.
• In-shop configuration, preparation and testing, transport for on-site setup and operation of Audio and Video equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors and related peripherals.
