SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to lead technology-focused audits across an enterprise IT environment. You will plan, execute, and report on audits that strengthen risk management and governance.

The ideal candidate combines technical audit expertise with strong communication and leadership skills, including SOX testing and familiarity with COBIT, COSO, NIST, and ISO 27001. This is an in-office role based in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
• CIA or CISA certification required; CPA or CISSP preferred.
• 5+ years of IT audit, internal audit, or risk/compliance experience, with people-management.
• Experience with IT controls, audit methodologies, and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute IT audits (ITGC, application controls, operational).
• Develop and maintain annual IT audit plan with Internal Audit leadership.
• Lead SOX IT control testing (scoping, walkthroughs, testing, remediation).
• Apply COBIT, COSO, NIST, ISO 27001 to assess controls and risks.
• Manage AuditBoard documentation, workpapers, findings, controls.
• Supervise and develop audit staff throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate findings and risks to senior management and external auditors.
• Build relationships with IT leadership, business units, and external partners.
• Track audit issues and action plans for timely remediation.
• Stay current on tech risks, regulatory changes, and best practices.
