Highmark Health invites qualified undergraduates to participate in the Summer 2027 IT Audit Internship. You will gain hands-on experience across IT audit, cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management and governance within Highmark Health and its subsidiaries.

The internship offers exposure to enterprise IT risk assessment, information security controls, and audit execution. As part of Internal Audit, you will work with IT Audit, Information Security, Privacy, and Risk Management teams to

Qualificações

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Assist IT auditing and assurance engagements across IT risk areas.
• Support evaluation of technology and security controls to identify risks.
• Document audit results and prepare recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support risk management and governance objectives.
• Gain exposure to HIPAA compliance requirements and data privacy practices.
• Contribute to system implementation reviews and audit methodologies.
• Support day-to-day audit activities and project planning.
