Job summary

Highmark Health invites applications for the Summer 2027 Undergraduate IT Audit Internship. The internship provides hands-on experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, and governance across Highmark Health and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT audit, information security, privacy, risk management, and governance activities.
• Support IT assurance and advisory engagements and conduct research for audit results.
• Document findings and contribute to process improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization in highly regulated environments (HIPAA).
• Participate in planning and implementation of projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
