Highmark Health invites applications for its Summer 2027 Undergraduate IT Audit Internship. This program provides hands-on experience supporting IT audit, cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, and governance across Highmark Health and its subsidiaries.

Interns will work with IT Audit, Information Security, Privacy, Risk Management, and business professionals to evaluate controls and support compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

Qualificações

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college/university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in IT, cybersecurity, information systems or related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day IT assurance activities.
• Participate in IT assurance and advisory engagements.
• Assess technology and security risks; perform research and analysis.
• Document audit results and recommendations for action.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
• Gain exposure to HIPAA data privacy and governance requirements.
• Assist with project planning and execution.
