Highmark Health is offering the Summer 2027 Undergraduate IT Audit Internship to gain hands-on experience across IT audit, cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, and governance initiatives.

Interns will evaluate controls, assist with project work, and collaborate with IT Audit, Information Security, Privacy, Risk Management, and business professionals to understand enterprise IT risk and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA.

Qualificações

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day audit activities and IT assurance engagements.
• Assist with evaluating technology and security risks and documenting results.
• Develop recommendations for process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Gain exposure to HIPAA, data privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
