Job summary

Leidos, Inc. is seeking an IT Asset Manager to join the IT Asset Management Team. You will oversee hardware, software, and network assets across their lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to ITIL and program objectives.

The role requires collaboration with SDM, ITAM, procurement, and service operations to optimize asset inventory and support service levels. You will engage with stakeholders across departments, drive due diligence, and contribute to continuous improvement of

Qualifications

• ITIL v3/4 certification appropriate to Hardware Asset Management.
• Experience managing hardware, software, and network assets.
• Ability to write coherent, concise technical documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Experience developing service-based processes in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Service Delivery Manager and ITAM Team lead to ensure HAM service model is fit for purpose and aligned with Customer and Leidos strategies.
• Provide technical expertise in managing hardware, software, and network assets over the lifecycle.
• Document and report asset management activities accurately and regularly.
• Apply SAFe/Agile knowledge to work effectively within an Agile environment.
• Maintain comprehensive asset documentation ensuring ITIL compliance.
• Conduct due diligence to ensure full lifecycle compliance and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and align requirements.
• Monitor, manage, and report on the status of the IT asset management program.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize IT asset inventory and lifecycle.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to meet requirements and address issues.
• Collaborate with Programme/Project Management and procurement on asset identification and deployment.
• Work with Service Operations to ensure services meet SLAs and performance indicators.
