Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking an Asset Manager to own the end-to-end hardware IT Asset Management function across multiple locations, ensuring asset data accuracy and lifecycle execution from end user devices to infrastructure assets. The role collaborates with procurement, finance, security, and IT to define governance, policy, and processes.

Responsibilities include reconciliation across discovery data, asset records, and procurement, managing aging queues, and maintaining asset reporting.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in IT asset management, IT operations, or a closely related discipline, owning asset data in an enterprise tool.
• Experience implementing or operating ITAM in ServiceNow, including the asset module and its relationship to the CMDB.
• Working knowledge of endpoint management and discovery tooling to normalize data into asset records.

Responsibilities

• Own daily and weekly reconciliation between discovery data, endpoint management tooling, procurement records, and the ServiceNow asset record.
• Manage asset exception/aging queue with field services, service desk, and engineering teams to close items.
• Track unaccounted, missing, and stale assets; follow up with teammates and locations.
• Maintain stock and spare inventory across staging locations with counts and replenishment triggers.
• Verify asset data accuracy by physical or remote verification when data is incomplete.
• Process and validate receiving, deployment, transfer, return, and disposal transactions within service levels.
• Build and publish recurring asset reports including reconciliation, aging, and recovery metrics.
• Define and enforce asset record data model in ServiceNow; establish data ownership and status transitions.
