Job summary

Seneca Resources seeks an IT Asset Management Analyst to support enterprise IT Asset Management and SOGR initiatives for a government client in New York, NY. The role focuses on ServiceNow-driven asset data and hardware lifecycle tracking.

You will reconcile inventories, ensure audit-ready records, and collaborate with IT field teams to optimize asset deployment and lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

1–2+ years of logistics, inventory management, IT asset management, or related experience.
1–2+ years of desktop engineering or hands-on IT hardware experience.
1–2+ years of OS hardware and software experience.
Strong analytical and data-quality skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work onsite as required.

Responsibilities

Track computers and related IT hardware throughout the asset lifecycle.
Maintain asset information within ServiceNow and other asset management systems.
Monitor asset deployment, assignment, transfer, recovery, and retirement activities.
Support State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle and technology refresh initiatives.
Coordinate asset activities across multiple offices and operating locations.
Partner with IT field teams and end users to validate asset assignments and resolve discrepancies.
Support large‑scale hardware deployment and recovery initiatives.
Generate scheduled and ad hoc asset management reports.
Prepare inventory and lifecycle information for compliance reviews and audits.
