Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee daily and long-term management of IT hardware, ensuring compliance with asset-management processes. You will track assets across the lifecycle, conduct inventories, and maintain a compliant repository.

You will work with customers to locate missing equipment, manage licenses, and prepare reports for the Corporate Property Management Team. This role emphasizes accuracy and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Experience using service desk applications such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Technical understanding of systems, scanners, and applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience issuing and tracking asset records and software licenses.
• Experience data entry for inventory and supply purposes.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement tracking processes from requisition through retirement.
• Maintain the asset-management repository with accurate, auditable data.
• Coordinate with customers to locate missing equipment.
• Create and maintain an inventory schedule aligned with team goals.
• Perform physical inventories and document changes to assets and accounts.
• Conduct quarterly and annual inventories per contract or customer requests.
• Monitor stock levels and procurement needs.
• Track hardware maintenance and software license renewals.
• Submit inventory reports to Corporate Property Management Team.
• Process and submit MDATs, CAP Reports, PARs, and DD1149 forms.
