Job summary

Bowhead is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to support operations at Vandenberg SFB. You will manage IT asset lifecycle, procurement, and inventory control, ensuring compliance with DoD and internal policies. Qualifications

• 3+ years logistics or DoD supply chain experience.
• 2+ years asset management and 2+ years IT financial planning/reporting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• IAT IAM DoD cert within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain auditable records of hardware, software, licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
• Plan, monitor, and record software licenses and hardware inventory for compliance.
• Identify cost savings and optimize IT resource utilization.
• Provide real-time reporting of IT assets including ownership, lifecycle, and renewal timelines.
• Track asset usage trends to forecast acquisitions and refresh cycles.
