Welcome!The IT Asset Management & Deployment Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle management of technology assets across Service Experts locations. This role ensures accurate inventory control, device deployment, asset recovery, lifecycle tracking, compliance, maintenance of asset records, and coordination of employee onboarding and offboarding activities. The position serves as the primary custodian of IT hardware assets, ensuring equipment is properly procured, configured, assigned, tracked, recovered, redeployed, and disposed of in accordance with company policies and financial controls.Primary Responsibilities:Asset Inventory ManagementMaintain inventory records for all IT assets, including:LaptopsDesktop computersTablets/iPadsMobile phonesDocking stationsMonitorsPrintersPeripheralsEnsure all assets are properly tagged and entered into the asset tracking system.Perform periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.Validate asset records for accuracy, completeness, location, and user assignment.Asset Deployment & ConfigurationPrepare and deploy equipment to new hires and existing employees.Coordinate equipment fulfillment for onboarding events.Configure devices including:Windows setupMicrosoft Intune enrollmentSecurity configurationApplication installationMaintain standard device build images and deployment procedures.Provide shipment tracking and confirmation of asset delivery.Asset Recovery & RedeploymentManage recovery of equipment from:Employee terminationsResignationsCenter closuresMergers and acquisitionsTechnology refresh programsInspect returned assets and determine:ReusableRepairableRecyclableReturn-to-lessorCoordinate equipment refurbishment and redeployment programs.Asset Lifecycle ManagementTrack assets from procurement through disposal.Monitor warranty, lease, and replacement schedules.Coordinate equipment returns to leasing companies.Manage hardware refresh initiatives.Identify and remove inactive or unused assets from service.Mobile Device ManagementMaintain inventory of mobile phones and tablets.Coordinate activations, upgrades, replacements, and carrier transfers.Work with wireless providers regarding:Device provisioningTrackingReturnsBilling verificationMonitor unused devices and recommend cost-saving opportunities.Reporting & AnalyticsProduce weekly and monthly reports including:Asset inventory countsAvailable inventoryAssigned inventoryLost or missing assetsLease expiration schedulesRedeployment activityInventory valuationSupport Finance, Procurement, IT Leadership, Internal Audit, and Compliance teams.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with:Corporate IT policiesInformation security requirementsAsset management standardsAudit requirementsMaintain complete asset documentation and audit trails.Support SOX and internal audit reviews involving technology assets.Vendor CoordinationAct as primary contact for:Leasing providersAsset recovery vendorsMobile carriersHardware suppliersLogistics partnersCoordinate pickup, shipping, repair, and disposal activities.Qualifications:• Minimum Experience: 6+ years • Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED Equal Opportunity Employer.
