Job summary

DANE LLC is seeking an Asset Management Technician in Washington DC to image laptops/desktops, install new devices, and support printers/scanners across a site.

You will perform physical IT asset inventory, track lifecycle, and assist with laptop image deployment while maintaining the inventory system of record. A DoD clearance is required; benefits include aggressive PTO and various learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication with end-users and strong customer service.
• Self-starter, dependable, able to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Working knowledge of ticketing and inventory management tools (ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Install software on laptops/desktops using established processes.
• Provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Document actions and solutions for clients.
• Stage equipment at user locations per plan.
• Restore backed up data and user profiles to new devices.
• Support disposal of assets and stage for shipment.
• Verify imaged devices have correct image and overlays.
• Perform required patches/updates and AD/GPO deployment where applicable.
• Duties may change based on government customer needs.
