Job summary

RiceFW Technologies Inc. seeks a Technical Support 1 specialist to coordinate the asset lifecycle of district technology devices from receipt to disposal, ensuring accuracy, QA, and timely service experiences for stakeholders.

The role requires on-site work at Detroit facilities, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to strict procedures. It supports onboarding/offboarding, device deployments, and inventory reporting while collaborating with vendors and staff to maintain inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven 5+ years desktop/computer support with troubleshooting and routine maintenance on computers/peripherals.
• Experience with Apple, HP, Lenovo, and Dell products preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support each phase of the asset lifecycle for technology devices within the district, from acquisition to disposal.
• Act as first point of contact for technology purchases and onboarding/offboarding staff.
• Coordinate deployment of devices to district locations and schedule timely deliveries to schools.
• Conduct orientation or best-practice workshops for employees on device deployment and adoption.
• Maintain warehouse upkeep, labeling of bays and shelves, and accurate inventory records.
