Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a skilled Asset Management & Deployment Specialist in Detroit to manage the lifecycle of technology devices from receipt to disposal. You will ensure quality and SLA adherence while maintaining an organized warehouse and accurate device records.

The role requires 5+ years of desktop support, strong Microsoft 365 proficiency, ITSM/ITAM familiarity, and the ability to work under pressure with empathy for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years of desktop/computer support experience.
• Experience with Apple, HP, Lenovo and Dell products preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with ITSM and ITAM tools and database management.
• Ability to follow procedures and create accurate reports.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support each phase of the asset lifecycle for technology devices within the district.
• Respond to inquiries regarding orders, onboarding and offboarding staff.
• Coordinate deployment of devices to district locations and schools.
• Conduct orientation and workshops for employees at deployment.
• Maintain warehouse upkeep, labeling and inventory records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve order, warranty or delivery issues.
• Coordinate physical inventories and technology audits with up-to-date data.
• Manage stock inventory to ensure devices are ready for deployment.
• Develop internal knowledge resources and FAQs for the Hub.
• Follow warehouse safety guidelines and keep assets organized daily.
• Collaborate with teams on projects and resolve incidents related to asset management.
