Job summary

ESP Legal in the Los Angeles area seeks an IT Asset & Operations Specialist to manage the firm’s hardware inventory, deployment, and distribution nationwide. The role also provides Help Desk support and basic end-user troubleshooting for staff.

You will stage and configure equipment for deployment, track assets through their lifecycle, and assist with onboarding, moves, and onsite IT needs at the El Segundo office.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining IT hardware inventory and asset records.
• Ability to coordinate shipping of equipment nationwide.
• Provide general Help Desk support and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, monitors, peripherals, and IT equipment.
• Receive, package, and ship IT equipment to employees and satellite offices nationwide.
• Process returned equipment and coordinate replacements, repairs, warranties, and RMAs.
• Stage, configure, and prepare computers and other technology for deployment.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure hardware stock is available.
• Provide general Help Desk and end-user technical support as workload permits.
• Assist with equipment installations, moves, and onsite IT needs at El Segundo.
• Support onboarding, departures, equipment refreshes, and tech initiatives with IT team.
• Maintain asset records through lifecycle from acquisition to retirement.
• Deliver timely communication and high level customer service regarding requests.

(this is a direct Hire position with our client- a prestigious law firm in LA area.

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day inventory, deployment, and distribution of the firm’s IT hardware. The role ensures accurate equipment tracking, prepares and ships hardware to employees and offices nationwide, processes returned equipment, and helps maintain appropriate inventory levels. In addition to asset management and logistics responsibilities, this position will provide general Help Desk and end-user technical support as workload permits.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and track laptops, monitors, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Receive, prepare, package, and ship IT equipment to employees and satellite offices nationwide.
• Process returned equipment and coordinate replacements, repairs, warranties, and RMA requests.
• Stage, configure, and prepare computers and other technology for deployment.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate hardware stock is available to support business needs.
• Provide general Help Desk and end-user technical support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and access-related issues, as workload permits.
• Assist with equipment installations, employee moves, office setups, and other onsite IT needs at the El Segundo office.
• Support new-hire onboarding, employee departures, equipment refreshes, and technology initiatives in coordination with other members of the IT team.
• Maintain organized and accurate asset records throughout the equipment lifecycle, from acquisition and deployment through return, repair, replacement, and retirement.
• Provide a high level of customer service and timely communication to employees regarding equipment requests, shipments, replacements, and technical issues.
