HumanKind is seeking an IT Application Specialist at the Lynchburg campus to provide hands-on technical support and develop solutions that improve how our systems operate. You will troubleshoot issues, guide colleagues through challenges, and collaborate with IT and program teams to optimize technology use across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science or equivalent; a bachelor's is preferred.
• Experience providing IT support or customer service.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Providing responsive, empathetic technical support that helps coworkers resolve application issues and return to their work with confidence.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and developing practical technology solutions that meet the needs of programs and departments.
• Maintaining applications through routine updates, account management, system checks, and attention to performance and security.
• Collaborating with IT colleagues, business teams, and software vendors to resolve issues, support system enhancements, and implement new features.
• Keeping application documentation current and helping coworkers understand application features, troubleshooting steps, and technology best practices.
