Job summary

Heniff Transportation Systems is seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide end-user support for hardware, software, and business applications across the company. You will resolve issues across TMW, Trimble, and related systems, create training materials, and collaborate with IT leadership on upgrades and projects.

The role requires strong problem solving, customer service, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced logistics IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SQL Management Studio, SSRS and Visual Studio; Trimble experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as an Application Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support to end-users across the business for computer hardware, software, and technology equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues with various enterprise systems and applications listed in the duties.
• Assist end-users with problems related to Trimble applications after authentication.
• Follow IT Operations Policy guidelines and SLAs when resolving issues.
• Collaborate with end-users and vendors to understand requirements for technical projects.
• Work with the Senior IT Project Manager to analyze, plan, and develop project requirements and standards.
• Create training documents and materials for Heniff University related to applications.
• Create Zendesk knowledge base articles and document configurations in ITGlue; write customer self-help articles.
• Perform upgrades and end-user testing in test and production environments with Senior IT Project Manager.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors such as Trimble to resolve complex issues promptly.
