IT Applications & Development Manager (Onsite)

We have an immediate need for a direct hire IT Applications & Development Manager to join our client, a global leader in the automotive aftermarket. The IT Applications & Development Manager will lead and mentor a talented team of software engineers responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.

Location: Oceanside, CA (Onsite)

This job expects to pay about $139,000 – 160,000 annually plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

Plan and implement enterprise applications and related integrations
Design, Develop and Architect solutions that deliver value to the organization
Manage lifecycle of enterprise applications from selection/development and implementation to maintenance and upgrades.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering their professional growth.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Automate release pipelines and testing to improve quality of deliverables
Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Actively manage project timelines and resources
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development

What Gets You The Job:

B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in IT and software engineering roles.
5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Experience implementing and maintaining enterprise applications (ERP, WMS, MES)
Experience with ERP integrations (EDI, ECommerce, etc.)
Experience with .Net C# and other object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
Proficiency in DevOps management tools and code repositories (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, GitHub, etc.)
Experience with SQL and SQL server (Oracle is a plus).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
Knowledge of Cloud ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic) is a huge plus
Manufacturing experience is a plus
