Job summary

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is hiring an entry level IT Application Administrator I to join Applications, Development and Integrations. UFIT enables campus IT systems and supports 70,000+ customers daily, with a focus on enterprise content management across 16 colleges and multiple administrative areas.

The role emphasizes analysis, development, testing, and deployment of ECM solutions, strong customer support, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience, but does not negate the minimum degree requirement(s).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar field is preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in software development, electronic document management solution development, e-signature administration, IT-related customer support, and software systems documentation

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise content management solutions that utilize OnBase and DocuSign.
  • Assist in providing prompt and courteous customer support for deployed solutions, including intake, triage, and resolution of support tickets.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation (designs, specifications, testing, processes, workflows, etc.).
  • Demonstrate excellent communications, teamwork, and customer service.

Job Description

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level IT Application Administrator I to join Applications, Development and Integrations, a unit within UFIT.

UF Information Technology enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator.

This position is instrumental in the development and support of enterprise content management solutions for 16 colleges and multiple administrative areas across campus and the state – potentially impacting 70,000 + customers daily. As an integral member of the UFIT Enterprise Document Management team, the incumbent must demonstrate a high level of creativity, comprehension, analytical skills, and teamwork.

Some Key Responsibilities And Characteristics Of This Position Are
  • Assist in the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise content management solutions that utilize both basic and advanced capabilities of Hyland OnBase and Docusign. These solutions automate complex processes and manage important university content (documents, e-forms, cases, data, etc.).
  • Assist in providing prompt and courteous customer support for deployed solutions, including intake, triage, and resolution of support tickets.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation (designs, specifications, testing, processes, workflows, etc.).
  • Demonstrate excellent communications, teamwork, and customer service.

Expected Salary

$58,000-65,000; commensurate based on education and experience

Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • 1+ year of experience in software development, electronic document management solution development, e-signature administration, IT-related customer support, and software systems documentation
  • Strong analytical and IT testing skills
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

This is not a remote work position and is located in Gainesville, FL.
