The Agile RTE & Program Manager II – IT Agile PMO will manage waterfall, Agile, and hybrid programs, overseeing financial, scope, risk, dependency, stakeholder management, and communication with executive leadership. They will ensure the execution of complex IT programs, coach leaders and teams in Agile processes, and pivot between program manager and RTE roles in a bi-modal environment.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations (Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA; Chicago, IL; Carlisle, PA; Scarborough, ME) and 2 remote days. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage and deliver complex Agile and Waterfall programs of up to $20M, minimizing scope, budget, and schedule impacts.
2. Partner with finance and project teams to support financial cadences aligned with portfolio financials.
3. Ensure compliance with project delivery methods, tools, frameworks, and controls.
4. Develop resource, timeline, and budget plans, and collaborate on dependencies.
5. Define clear deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and develop project charters.
6. Create risk management blueprints and roadmaps for project success.
7. Implement technological projects tailored to organizational needs.
8. Report progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
9. Monitor project KPIs and ensure adherence to procedures.
10. Maintain project dashboards for transparent communication.
11. Coordinate dependencies and manage cross-project tasks.
12. Oversee release management and deployment plans.
13. Manage stakeholder expectations and program governance.
14. Lead Agile transformation and facilitate SAFe processes.
15. Coach and mentor project managers, Scrum Masters, and teams.
16. Support prioritization, dependency management, and backlog health.
17. Ensure operational stability, including support during off-hours for 24/7 environments.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years in project/program management, with 5+ years on Agile projects as RTE.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, PPM tools (Jira), and SDLC.
• Data-driven decision-making skills and leadership in ambiguity.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Financial acumen and ability to interpret key financial indicators.
• Experience in servant leadership and Agile processes, including SAFe.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or advanced business degree.
• Agile/SAFe certification.
• Experience managing agile, SAFe, Scrum teams, and in retail is a plus.

Salary Range varies by location, e.g., $108,880 - $163,320 in ME/NC/PA/SC and $125,200 - $187,800 in IL/MA/MD.
