Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an ISSO to maintain the secure posture of information systems in a high-sensitivity environment. The role collaborates with the ISSM and ISO to develop authorization documentation and enforce configuration management across boundaries.

Responsibilities include preparing authorization packages, handling hardware/media sanitization, monitoring security controls, and ensuring audit records match policy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures are in place for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media.
• Notify ISSM when changes may affect the authorization determination.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems for compliance with the security package.
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software/firmware with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features are restored.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend required security training relevant to duties.
• Execute cyber security self-inspection and provide coordination.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards status.
• Perform ISSO duties in support of customers.
