Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Officer to maintain the security posture of a DoD information system and work with ISSM/ISO.

The role covers day‑to‑day security operations, physical/environmental protection, incident handling, and training, primarily within SAP/SCI environments. Requirements include 2+ years of related experience, a relevant degree or equivalent, and IAT Level II/IAM Level II certs with polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience; SAP experience required.
• Bachelor’s or related degree with 2 years’ experience (or 4 years equivalent).
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II certifications within 6 months of hire.
• US Citizenship required; TS/SCI with full polygraph eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop physical or logical topologies for a system.
• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures exist for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM and AO/DAO prior to modification.
• Monitor security features and restore procedures after incidents.
