General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an ISSO to maintain the security posture of DoD information systems, coordinating with ISSM and ISO. The role covers day‑to‑day security operations, physical/environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training.

The role involves developing/ updating authorization docs, configuration management across boundaries, and monitoring systems to ensure compliance. TS/SCI with CI polygraph is required.

Competenze

• 2+ years related experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree or equivalent experience required.

Mansioni

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic reviews for security compliance with the authorization package.
• Coordinate changes to hardware, software, or firmware with ISSM and AO/DAO prior to change.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features are restored.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend required technical and security training relative to duties.
• Execute cyber security portion of self-inspection and review system assessment plans.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures implementation.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards status.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analysis for configuration changes.
