Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain the security posture of an information system, collaborating with the ISSM and ISO. The role covers daily security operations for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities, including authorization documentation and configuration management across boundaries.

The position requires SAP experience, 2+ years in related roles, and TS/SCI with CI Polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience.
• SAP experience required.
• TS/SCI clearance required or the ability to obtain with CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media are in place.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems for compliance with the authorization package.
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software/firmware with ISSM and AO/DAO prior to changes.
• Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features function correctly.
• Ensure security-related documentation is current and accessible to authorized individuals.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend required technical and security training related to duties.
• Execute cyber security portions of self-inspection and review system assessments.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards status.
