Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to manage the security posture of DoD SAP/SCI environments. The role requires close collaboration with ISSM and ISO, development and maintenance of authorization documentation, and day‑to‑day security operations for systems and environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area required.
• 2+ years of related experience in information security.
• SAP experience required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required and ability to obtain CI Poly.
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop physical or logical topologies for a system.
• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with the security package.
• Coordinate changes with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to changes.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features are restored.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
