Job summary

RedTrace Technologies is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) II to join the team at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on RMF, authorization packages, and safeguarding DoD information systems within SAP/SCI contexts.

You will collaborate with ISSM/ISO, maintain accreditation documents, and lead security operations for collateral, SCI, and SAP activities. A TS clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience, RMF packages or evidence work
• Prior roles in System/Network Administration or ISSO
• Current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in duties and responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages
• Ensure procedures for clearing and destroying hardware/media
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization
• Conduct periodic reviews for security compliance
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with ISSM and AO/DAO
• Monitor system recovery processes and ensure security features restored
• Keep security documentation current and accessible
• Ensure audit records are collected and reviewed
• Attend security training relevant to duties
• Support cyber security self-inspection and coordination
• Identify vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures implementation
• Prepare status reports on security safeguards
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers
