Job summary

RedTrace Technologies is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) II at Kirtland AFB, NM. The position requires US citizenship, a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and RMF package experience to manage security for DoD information systems.

You will work with the ISSM to prepare authorization packages, maintain security documentation, and coordinate changes across hardware and software. The role covers day-to-day security operations within SAP/SCI environments and includes benefits

Qualifications

• 2–5 years related RMF experience or development of RMF packages/bodies of evidence
• Experience in roles such as System/Network Administrator or ISSO
• Current U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media
• Notify ISSM of changes that may affect authorization
• Conduct periodic reviews for compliance with the authorization package
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with ISSM and AO/DAO
• Monitor system recovery to ensure security features are restored
• Maintain current IS security documentation
• Ensure audit records are collected and reviewed
• Attend required technical and security training
• Execute cyber security portions of self-inspections
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures
• Prepare reports on security safeguards status
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers
