Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) 1 with a Top Secret security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Las Vegas, NV. Will also consider candidates in DC, Maryland, and New Mexico.

Essential responsibilities include managing system, application, and hardware authorization activities under RMF, developing ISSPs, Risk Assessments, and Security Baselines, and coordinating with AO/AODR for review and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field
• 1-3 years in cybersecurity or information security
• 1+ years with RMF or similar security authorization frameworks
• Experience developing and maintaining security documentation (ISSPs, Risk Assessments, Security Baselines)
• Experience with federal agencies (DOE/NNSA/DoD)
• Training toward NNSA/DoD 8140 requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage system, application, and hardware authorization activities ensuring RMF requirements are implemented
• Develop ISSPs, Risk Assessments, and Security Baselines for authorization packages
• Prepare packages for AO/AODR review and approval
• Maintain knowledge of AO-approved risk boundaries and monitoring
• Mentor junior security personnel in authorization processes and documentation
• Collaborate with NA-IM and NNSA contractors and participate in meetings and briefings
