Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with a Top Secret security clearance to support our government customer. The role encompasses RMF-based security authorization, documentation, and continuous monitoring for the DOE NNSA program.

Ideal candidates have experience with ISSPs, risk assessments, and security baselines, and are eligible for the required clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 1-3 years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
• 1+ years with RMF or similar security authorization frameworks.
• Experience developing ISSPs, Risk Assessments, and Security Baselines.
• Experience with federal agencies (DOE/NNSA/DoD preferred).
• Training toward NNSA/DoD 8140 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage security authorization activities for systems, applications, and hardware.
• Develop ISSPs, Risk Assessments, and Security Baselines.
• Prepare and submit authorization packages to ISSM/AO/AODR.
• Apply RMF methodology consistently across systems.
• Perform continuous monitoring and track security controls.
• Mentor junior security personnel.
