Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) 1 with a Top Secret clearance to support NNSA and our government customer from Las Vegas, NV, DC, Maryland, or New Mexico. The ISSO will lead RMF activities, prepare ISSPs and risk assessments, and coordinate with AO and AO-designated reps.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in cybersecurity, hands-on RMF experience, and strong documentation skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor-level degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 1–3 years in cybersecurity or information security.
• 1+ years with RMF or similar security authorization frameworks.
• Experience developing and maintaining security documentation (ISSPs, risk assessments, baselines).

Responsabilidades

• Manage system, application, and hardware authorization activities to ensure cybersecurity requirements are implemented.
• Prepare and submit authorization packages to ISSM and AO/AODR for review.
• Maintain continuous monitoring and track security control implementation and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior security personnel and support governance and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with government and contractor teams to satisfy RMF requirements.
