Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support RMF/NIST compliance for DoD programs. You will work in a team, ensuring security controls, continuous monitoring, and documentation for authorization to operate.

A Top Secret upgrade may be possible for the right candidate. Required are a DoD-focused cybersecurity background, 4–10 years of experience, and active clearance with SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4–10 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Active Secret clearance with SAP eligibility (Top Secret potential).
• Experience implementing RMF and NIST SP 800-53 controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity support per DoDI 8500.01 and RMF across programs.
• Maintain current cybersecurity documentation for authorized personnel.
• Support ATO/ATC processes and POA&Ms.
• Continuously monitor security posture and assess changes for impact.
• Assess security controls against performance indicators.
• Evaluate system security posture using tools like ACAS and DISA STIGs.
