Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (Cybersecurity Senior ISSM) to oversee cybersecurity activities for day-to-day operations and software development lifecycles at Gunter Maxwell AFB, AL. The role requires DoD/AF security expertise and active certifications, with on-site work in Huntsville, AL.

Ideal candidates will have a DoW background, Secret clearance eligibility, and strong RMF/AFMAN knowledge to support nationwide logistics planning and deployment tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in the discipline, 5 of which in DoW, or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (8 in DoW).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Must hold and maintain a personnel certification for the DCWF ISSM work role (722) at an advanced level per DoWI 8510.01 and AFI 17-101.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cybersecurity posture and lifecycle integration for IT systems for the AO per AF guidance.
• Coordinate ISCM strategy with PM and AO staff and monitor security changes.
• Continuously monitor IT environments for security-relevant events and assess configuration changes for impact.
• Ensure reporting of cybersecurity events to the AO and affected parties and oversee training and certification of ISSOs and privileged users.
• Maintain DoD and Air Force IT security documentation and authorization statuses.
