Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior (ISSM) to own day-to-day security operations and integration with software development lifecycles. The ISSM will advise the AO, PM, and ISO, ensuring DoD cybersecurity posture across the IT lifecycle and environment for GBM support.

The role requires US citizenship, DoD clearance readiness, and advanced certification alignment (AFMAN 17-1301/1305). Onsite work in Huntsville, AL with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field with 10 years of experience in the discipline, 5 years in the DoW.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12 years of experience, 5 in the DoW.
• OR 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which in the DoW.

Responsibilities

• Completes and maintains required cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1305.
• Keeps AF IT cybersecurity documentation current and accessible to authorized personnel.
• Supports authorization to operate and actioning plan milestones.
• Develops ISCM strategy with PM/AO; monitors system changes.
• Monitors IT environment for security-relevant events.
• Assesses configuration changes for cybersecurity impact.
• Reports cybersecurity events or changes to AO and affected parties.
• Ensures training and certifications for ISSOs and privileged users.
• Ensures proper DoW/IP security documentation and disposal IAW DoWI 5000.02 and 8510.01.
