Job summary

American Operations Corporation seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the BLITS 3.0 program at Hanscom AFB, MA. The ISSO will ensure security, operation, and compliance of the JWICS environment, safeguarding classified network infrastructure.

The role requires extensive DoD cybersecurity experience, Security+ certification, and an active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI readiness. Responsibilities include RMF/ICD 503, ATO sustainment, incident response, and COMSEC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or an equivalent field; four years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance; TS/SCI environment experience is expected.
• Extensive DoD cybersecurity experience across JWICS and RMF/ICD 503 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support upgrade and integration of Hanscom JWICS SCI architecture.
• Plan and monitor security measures for networks and information.
• Ensure security controls protect digital files and infrastructure.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents.
• Coordinate RMF/ICD 503 and ATO sustainment with the ISSM/ISSO.
• Manage COMSEC and configuration management duties.
• Develop security documentation (CSRDs, SIAs) as required.
• Operate JWICS LAN per ICD 503 and related directives.
• Maintain JWICS file servers and user accounts.
• Assist IAO and security duties within the SCIF.
