Job summary

American Operations Corporation is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the BLITS 3.0 program at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The role ensures the operation, security, and compliance of the Hanscom JWICS environment, maintaining high security posture for classified networks.

The ISSO will manage system administration, user accounts, security controls, RMF/ICD 503 compliance, ATO sustainment, incident response, COMSEC support, and coordination with the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent; four years of relevant experience may substitute.
• At least 10 years of DoD or Federal cybersecurity experience.
• Security+ certification required.
• Active Top Secret clearance; TS/SCI environments experience preferred.
• Experience with JWICS, RMF, ICD 503, and ATO sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Support upgrade and expansion of Hanscom JWICS SCI architecture.
• Plan, implement, monitor security measures for networks and data.
• Ensure security controls safeguard critical infrastructure.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents.
• Coordinate RMF/ICD 503 with Site ISSM for ATO sustainment.
• Maintain COMSEC, configuration management, and disaster recovery.
• Create CSRDs and SIAs as required.
• Operate JWICS LAN per ICD 503 in SCI facilities.
