Job summary

American Operations Corporation is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the BLITS 3.0 program at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The ISSO will ensure security compliance for JWICS, manage system administration, RMF/ ICD 503, and ATO sustainment for mission-critical SCI networks.

The role requires extensive DoD cybersecurity experience, Security+ certification, and an active TS/SCI clearance, with responsibilities spanning incident response, COMSEC, and coordination with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience in DoD or federal environment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required; experience with JWICS strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD, and federal cybersecurity directives.
• Experience supporting RMF, ICD 503, and ATO sustainment.
• Security+ certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Support upgrade, expansion, and integration of Hanscom JWICS SCI architecture.
• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security controls for networks and information.
• Respond to security breaches, viruses, and incidents; coordinate RMF matters.
• Maintain COMSEC, CSRDs, SIAs, and site operations; assist with disaster recovery.
• Operate and maintain JWICS LAN; manage user accounts and access privileges.
• Develop CSRDs and SIAs; coordinate new JWICS connections and configuration changes.
• Serve as alternate Hanscom JWICS ISSO and support ATO sustainment for SCI network.
• Work with Site ISSM and government COTR; ensure compliance with ICD 503 and RMF.
