Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. seeks an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for our Huntsville, AL location. The role supports a Cyber Compliance Team and RMF A&A processes for tactical systems, ensuring robust DoD security posture.

Responsibilities include evaluating system security against NIST controls, managing RMF packages, and working with developers to maintain accreditation and documentation. Active DoD Secret clearance required; Top Secret a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in information security or related field.
• DoD ISSM-Basic certification, education, and experience compliance.
• Associates degree in Engineering, IT or Cyber-related field.
• Experience with DoD RMF, NIST controls, and security assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical evaluations of equipment, software, and networks against NIST controls.
• Select security controls and timely complete accreditation packages and mitigations.
• Experience with eMASS and RMF packages updates and maintenance.
• Identify and document threats/risks across system lifecycles; manage A&As.
• Coordinate RMF documentation with developers and assessors.
• Monitor DoD RMF compliance and validate security postures across layers.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain system functionality within RMF framework.
