Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for Wright-Patterson AFB to lead cybersecurity compliance across DoD RMF, FISMA, and NIST requirements. The role demands a TS clearance eligibility, DoD policy experience, and the ability to guide both tactical and strategic security activities within DevSecOps and cloud/on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field with 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and government contracting exposure.
• Experience with RMF, FISMA, NIST, and Air Force security policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage cybersecurity compliance for assigned information systems per DoW, Air Force RMF, FISMA, and NIST.
• Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies and security controls.
• Lead RMF Lifecycle: SSP development, accreditation/re-accreditation, and reviews.
• Maintain POA&M items, coordinate remediation with owners and technical teams.
• Support eMASS package development and ATO coordination.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, audits, and control reviews.
• Oversee continuous monitoring: control reviews, vulnerability scans, and reports.
• Review ACAS, Splunk, STIG, IAVM results to identify risks and guide decisions.
• Coordinate security validation testing in DevSecOps, on-prem and cloud.
• Serve as primary contact for IS security inspections, SCA/SCAR coordination.
• Review firewall and change requests for risk and baseline compliance.
• Monitor intrusion detection, audit, and security event data; coordinate responses.
• Coordinate incident response activities and report findings to leadership.
