Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager to support a Cyber Compliance Team in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on RMF assessments, accreditation activities, and DoD security controls across tactical systems.

The position requires DoD RMF experience, RMF package management, and strong communication; a US citizenship and security clearance are required. Candidates with an engineering or cyber-related background are preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess and maintain a US Secret security clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligible is a plus.
• Meet DoDD 8140 ISSM-Basic certification, education, and experience compliance.
• Associates degree in Engineering, IT or Cyber-related field.
• Experience implementing and evaluating DoD STIG requirements, NIST RMF, IAVMs, and cybersecurity tools (ACAS, Nessus, SCC, STIG Viewer).
• Knowledge of RMF process and NIST security controls.
• Knowledge of information system architecture and standards for cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-160, Systems Security Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate technical evaluations of equipment, software, full systems, or networks and document security posture against applicable NIST controls.
• Select and assess security controls; complete accreditation packages and mitigations; maintain security posture.
• Experience with eMASS and RMF packages.
• Identify and document system security threats/risks through lifecycle; coordinate certifications and accreditations.
• Work with developers to update RMF/POA&M docs.
• Document residual security risks and manage Authorization Packages.
• Monitor DoD RMF Framework compliance across software, systems, and networks.
