Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc in Huntsville, AL seeks an Information Systems Security Manager to support the Cyber Compliance Team, providing ISSM-Basic support for tactical systems. You will perform cybersecurity analyses of hardware and software, and support the RMF Assessment and Authorization process for data processing, test, and DoD systems.

The role requires prioritizing competing requirements, adjudicating resource needs, and coordinating with system developers to maintain RMF packages

Qualifications

Must meet DoDD 8140 ISSM-Basic certification, education, and experience compliance.
U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
Experience with implementing and evaluating DoD RMF, NIST controls and security requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate technical evaluations of equipment, software, full systems, or network and document security posture against NIST controls.
Select and assess security controls, complete accreditation packages, implement mitigations and maintain security posture.
Maintain RMF packages using eMASS and coordinate with DoD RMF processes.
Document system risks and manage certification activities across the lifecycle.
Coordinate with developers to update RMF/POA&M documentation.
