Job summary

Mission Driven Research seeks an Information Systems Security Manager to support a Cyber Compliance Team providing ISSM-Basic support for tactical systems. You will oversee RMF A&A activities, assess DoD security controls, and collaborate with developers to maintain RMF documentation.

Responsibilities include evaluating security posture using NIST controls, preparing accreditation packages, and ensuring continuous monitoring and DoD compliance across software and hardware assets.

Qualifications

• DoDD 8140 ISSM-Basic certification, education, and experience compliance.
• Associates degree (Engineering, IT or Cyber-related field).
• Experience with implementing and evaluating DoD STIG requirements, NIST RMF, IAVMs and cybersecurity assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate technical evaluations of equipment, software, and systems and document security posture against NIST controls.
• Select and assess security controls, complete RMF packages, implement mitigations, and maintain system security posture.
• Experience with eMASS and RMF packages; track RMF/POA&M documentation.
