Job summary

ACQCENTRIC INC. seeks an RMF/ISSM-Basic professional to support a Cyber Compliance team. You will evaluate hardware and software cybersecurity, support RMF A&A for data processing and tactical systems, and prioritize resources for DoD mission needs.

You must be able to manage RMF packages, document security threats, and coordinate certification activities across DoD environments. U.S. citizenship and security clearances are emphasized.

Qualifications

• DoD ISSM-Basic certification is required.
• Associate degree in Engineering/IT/Cyber-related field or higher preferred.
• Experience implementing and evaluating DoD STIGs, NIST RMF, IAVMs, and cybersecurity assessment tools (ACAS, Nessus, SCC, STIG Viewer).
• Knowledge of RMF process and NIST security controls.
• Familiarity with DoD security, RMF packages, and A&A documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical evaluations of equipment, software, and systems; document security posture and vulnerabilities against NIST controls.
• Select and assess security controls, complete accreditation packages, implement mitigations, and maintain system security posture.
• Have experience with eMASS; initiate, update, and maintain RMF packages.
• Identify risks, document threats, and coordinate system certification and accreditation activities.
• Work with developers to update RMF/POA&M documentation and ensure DoD RMF compliance.
• Monitor DoD RMF framework compliance, validate results, and analyze risk impacts at software, system, and network levels.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure continued functionality of systems within DoD RMF.
