Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (MIS) seeks an Engineering Project Manager - ISP in Hubbard, TX to lead Outside Plant and Inside Plant engineering activities for data center and fiber projects.

You will bridge engineering, construction, customers, and utilities to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of ISP/telecom project delivery, strong knowledge of fiber optics and cabling, and excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience managing ISP engineering scopes for telecom, data center, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic networks, structured cabling, and ISP design standards.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, fiber route plans, spindle diagrams, rack layouts, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISP engineering coordination for data center and fiber infrastructure projects.
• Manage deliverables, engineering reviews, and design coordination between customers, consultants, vendors, and construction teams.
• Review telecom drawings, fiber routes, cabling designs, splice diagrams, and technical specs.
• Support scope definition, budgeting, and constructability reviews during planning and preconstruction.
• Identify risks, design conflicts, and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables to support procurement, construction, testing, and turnover.
