Job summary

DuPont’s Newark, DE site seeks an Isostatics Operator to manufacture Vespel shapes per customer requirements. You will operate the process, log SAP transactions, and maintain product traceability while keeping area clean and safe.

The role supports rotating shifts and requires basic math and measurement skills. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 2 years of manufacturing experience or an AS in Mechanical/Materials Eng Technology, with PLC knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required for consideration.
• Two years of manufacturing experience or an AS degree in a related field.
• Basic computer and math skills; ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Demonstrated teamwork, analysis, engagement and productivity focus.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts; able to lift 40 lbs routinely.
• Experience with basic hand tools and measuring tools; PLC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ISO processes to manufacture Vespel products per customer specs.
• Perform SAP transactions, logs and traceability activities.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow cleanroom/area standards.
• Execute cleaning, PMs, and production scheduling as directed.
• Perform simple lock-outs and minor maintenance within scope of expertise.
• Follow safety and PSM procedures; respond to emergencies per site policy.
