Job summary

DuPont’s Newark, DE site seeks an Isostatics Operator to manufacture Vespel products per customer specs, performing preform loading, SAP logging, and area housekeeping. You will follow team standards for cleaning, PMs, and production scheduling, and execute simple lockouts as needed.

Safety and PSM compliance is required at all times. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 2 years of manufacturing experience or an A.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of manufacturing experience or relevant advanced degree (A.S. in Mechanical or Materials Engineering Technology, or related discipline).
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to write and interpret written instructions.
• Demonstrated competency in Teamwork, Analysis and Judgment, Engagement, and Managing for Productivity.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Ability to lift 40lbs routinely.
• Experience using basic hand and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing process while ensuring quality and conformance with standards.
• Complete SAP transactions, logs and other work stream activities for product traceability.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the area.
• Follow established team standards for cleaning, PMs, and production schedule.
• Perform simple and system lockouts on area equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance within area and scope of expertise.
• Maintain safety and PSM standards at all times and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
